Frequently Asked Questions: FAQs

What is The Taste of Louisiana Festival, LLC?

The Taste of Louisiana Festival, LLC was formed in 2011, in response to declining tourism and seafood markets. The decline was caused by a major oil spill a year earlier in the Gulf. The purpose of the festival at the time was to attract visitors back to Louisiana and remind them of what the Bayou State was known for... the food. Eventually, the festival became a yearly celebration of the culture and would also find a new home in Sugar Land, TX. The Taste of Louisiana Festival brings all Louisiana cuisines together in one place for guests to "Experience the Flavor and Culture of Louisiana". The festival combines all cultural backgrounds of Louisiana; French, African, Caribbean, Hispanic and Native American. We provide an opportunity to enjoy all the cuisine, music, arts and crafts of Louisiana.
